Exhaustive list of the cookies and trackers placed on rankfeed.io, their purposes, their lifetimes and how to exercise your choices.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed by a site on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you browse. It stores information about your browsing and, in some cases, identifies the user between sessions.
Within the meaning of French and European regulations, the term "cookie" covers all trackers placed or read when consulting an online service (HTTP cookies, local storage, pixels, fingerprinting, etc.).
2. Cookies placed on rankfeed.io
We classify the cookies used into three categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies: essential to the operation of the Service (authentication, security, language preferences, remembering consent). They are placed without prior consent in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
- Audience measurement cookies: we measure usage of the Service via PostHog (EU instance) in anonymized mode, in accordance with the CNIL recommendation "Audience measurement exempt from consent."
- Third-party payment cookies: Stripe places a cookie strictly necessary for the security of transactions during the payment phase.

You can at any time redisplay the consent banner and change your choices from the "Cookies" link located in the footer.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent access to certain features of the Service (in particular authentication).

5. Consent retention period
In accordance with the CNIL recommendation, your consent (or your refusal) is kept for a maximum of 6 months. At the end of this period, the banner will be presented to you again.
